INSTRUMENTS
The handpan belongs to the family of melodic metal percussion instruments.
Tuned to "scales," it becomes a diatonic instrument.
Therefore, very accessible and intuitive to play, it is ideal for diving into music and is an incredible tool for intuitive musical expression.
Additionally used in therapy, relaxation, or musical awakening, it also serves as a therapeutic instrument.
My handpans start with a base of 8 notes + a ding in a choice of scales.
However, I also create custom instruments of all kinds. Here is a series of videos presenting different scales, both standard and custom:
Each instrument is entirely handcrafted.
Therefore, each piece is unique; every one of the thousands of hammer blows the metal receives will have its impact.
